Wallflower is made by Baader, LLC ("we", "us"). This page covers this website, wallflowernotes.com: what it collects, why, and what you can do about it.

The Wallflower app has not opened yet. It will come with its own privacy policy, posted here before you can download it.

The short version

  • We only keep what you type into a form: your email for the waitlist, and the notes and votes you leave in the Greenhouse.
  • We use it to email you about Wallflower and to decide what to build next.
  • We don't sell it, and we don't use it for ads.
  • There are no ad trackers. We count visits with an analytics tool that uses no cookies and doesn't identify you.
  • Email hello@wallflowernotes.com and we'll delete what we have about you.

What we collect

The waitlist. Your email address, the date you joined, and which button you joined from. We send you one welcome email right away, and we'll email you when Wallflower opens.

The Greenhouse. When you leave a note: what you wrote, what kind of note it is (a seed, feedback or something broke), and, only if you add them, your email and which computer you use. When you vote: which item you voted for. Only our team reads these. Nothing you send shows up on the page.

Your browser. The Greenhouse remembers which items you voted for in your own browser, so the button stays on "Voted". That stays on your device and is not sent to us.

Visits. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages people read, the website that sent them and their rough region and device type. It uses no cookies and doesn't identify you or follow you to other sites.

Technical logs. Like any website, our host records basic request details (such as IP address, browser type and the page asked for) to keep the site running and secure.

Who helps us handle it

We use a few companies to run the site. Each handles data only to do its job for us:

  • Vercel hosts the website and counts visits.
  • Supabase stores the waitlist and the Greenhouse notes.
  • Resend sends our emails.

We don't sell your information or share it with anyone for advertising.

How long we keep it

We keep your waitlist email and Greenhouse notes until you ask us to delete them, or until we no longer need them for Wallflower.

Your choices

  • To see, correct or delete what we have about you, email hello@wallflowernotes.com.
  • To stop hearing from us, reply to any of our emails and say so.
  • This site doesn't follow you across other websites, so it treats "Do Not Track" browser settings the same way.

Children

This site is not meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you think a child sent us something, email hello@wallflowernotes.com and we'll delete it.

Changes

If we change this page, we'll update the date at the top. If a change matters for how we use your email, we'll tell you by email first.
